Reimagine Healthcare is a small organisation — one part-time director, a three-person board, and a growing number of people in Jackson County who decided to help. There is more work here than we can do alone, and most of it does not require a healthcare background. It requires people who are willing to think carefully and follow through.

Podcast guest research and outreach
Help identify local clinicians, employers and community leaders worth interviewing, and help make the introductions. The podcast is how this work reaches people who have never heard of us.
Good fit if you are organised, comfortable writing a short email, and know people locally. Remote.
Employer alliance outreach
Help introduce the Southern Oregon Community Purchasing Alliance to small and mid-sized employers, and help us understand what they actually need before we ask them to commit to anything.
Good fit if you know the local business community, or have sat on the buying side of a benefits decision.
Policy and research support
Read, summarise and fact-check material on Oregon healthcare policy — particularly coverage for households above 200% of the federal poverty level, where the current OHP Bridge does not reach.
Good fit if you are careful with sources and can write plainly. Remote, and genuinely flexible.
Events and the summit
Help plan and run local meetups and the Rogue Horizons summit — logistics, speaker coordination, and the unglamorous work that makes an event feel considered rather than thrown together.
Comes in bursts: quiet for stretches, busy in the weeks before an event.
Board and committee service
Our board is three people. We are interested in talking with anyone who can bring governance, finance, legal or healthcare-operations experience, and who wants a longer-term hand in where this organisation goes.
A real commitment, and a conversation before anything else.
Make a donation
Grant funding became impractical for an organisation our size in 2025, and we stopped pretending otherwise. Reimagine Healthcare now runs on individual donors and private foundations.
Donations pay for the care coordination work, the podcast and weekly briefing, and the research behind our healthcare access advocacy. We are a Jackson County nonprofit; your donation stays in Southern Oregon.
